When you use the cost comparison tool, you enter vehicle details such as make, model, year, mileage, purchase price, and loan terms. We may log the vehicle combination you compared (make, model, year, and mileage range) to improve our article recommendations. We do not store your purchase price, loan details, insurance figures, or any other financial inputs you enter.

Automatically collected information

Like most websites, we collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the time of your visit. This data is used for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. TrueCarCost is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. To make such a request, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.
